"It will be tight, if not impossible - The plan calls for the Ontario Line to go from underground at King-Bathurst to at grade at Exhibition GO over a short distance with these sewers in between - The sewers are at least 8' high; they are between 5 and 20' below grade; the tunnel will be almost 28' in diameter; there is less than 500m between Bathurst and the heavy-rail Y and main sewer at Ordinance Park, and 1 km between the "Relief" tunnel and Exhibition GO Station; they cannot tunnel through the sewers; they cannot go over them unless they remove Fort York - The absolute best case scenario, if the stars align and the rise is only 50', is a 2% grade over the 1km - I still think they are going to have to scrap the above grade segment and have it all underground"
