"Agreed; the problem is not insurmountable; I just want to point out that there are unforeseen issues that could increase the costs (and delay the project) substantially - There are at least two solutions here: One would be to build massive pumps to pump the effluent over top of the new subway tunnel - I am not an engineer, but this might also require huge storage or holding tanks to prevent issues with flooding and backflow - A second option would be to scrap the idea of bringing the track up to grade at Exhibition GO (A Dundas West Station alignment is looking better all the time)"
