Relief Line / Ontario Line - West

"I'd rather have them stop the Ontario Line at Osgoode as was planned for the Relief Line, and wait to extend it west, if that's what it takes to have it done right"

"I think you're a pretty bright guy; you are very knowledgeable about planning and transit; and I enjoy watching your videos; but you have a strange obsession with Ford's Ontario Line - I accept that we cannot afford a proper Subway; I accept that politicians, lack foresight, have their own agenda, don't listen to our professional planners, and hold all the cards; I realize that at roughly 2/3rds of the cost of a traditional subway, we can just build another one if the capacity proves to be inadequate; but I'm disappointed that you do not see the folly in abandoning the Dundas West route in favour of this Exhibition Place alignment"

"I'm sorry Mackenzie, I enjoy your videos, but Steven Lebow is right; GO is nothing like a subway, good and reliable transit requires redundancy, and a Dundas West/Weston/Albion Road extension of the Ontario Line would provide the necessary local service in what would be one of the city's busiest transit corridors"
