"So let me get this straight; Toronto's infrastructure requirements (of about $1 billion/year) were probably going to be a three-way split between the municipal, provincial, and federal governments; Kathleen Wynne is offering $170 million/year in gas tax revenue (which represents about half of the province's share), while at the same time taking away the city's best opportunity of raising $200 to $250 million of its $333 million dollar annual contribution, and, at the same time, taking politcal credit for blocking John Tory's infamous road tolls - Win, win for Wynne; no glory for Tory!"
