The Eglinton West Light Rapid Transit (LRT) line will close a gap in our transit network, providing a continuation of crosstown services, and a connection to Pearson airport area and the west end.

The Eglinton West LRT will serve existing and projected population growth, providing sustainable transportation choices that meet city-building objectives:

Help shape our evolving neighbourhoods
Create connected spaces and invest in social and physical services and infrastructure fundamental to the city’s quality of life
Develop an attractive and safe city that evokes pride, passion, and a sense of belonging
