"Part of the savings gained by eliminating the McCowan and Lawrence stop is a shallower tunnel - The January 21, 2016, decision to go with a 1-stop subway requires a study to examine the cost of adding back the cost to dig the tunnel deep enough and build headwalls to allow for a future McCowan and Lawrence subway station - My concern is that with the recently announced cost overruns they may not include for this option, thus putting the chance of ever having a McCowan and Lawrence subway station out of the question forever"
