Existing Transit Travel Patterns

The city has done plenty, but; in my opinion; they seem to disregard their own studies – For example the Scarborough Transit Proposal Update Jan21'16 includes a map from a study that shows that only 23% of transit trips originating in Scarborough end up downtown; while 24% end up elsewhere within Toronto proper, and yet; all existing and newly proposed modes of transit focus on getting people downtown (especially Union Station) – What about those wanting to travel elsewhere in the city? – Other than the Finch LRT; why are they not addressing transit for those (the 24 %) travelling between North Etobicoke, North York, and Scarborough? – I have marked up their map with the question “How do we get from here to here?” – It seems to have fallen on deaf ears
